When you want to review a range of paints on our website, like all websites you will have to choose an individual product, like 60ml Old Holland Oil in Cadmium Red. You can’t review a whole range directly, but you can indirectly, because a copy of your single colour review also shows at the top of the whole range (in that size). Unfortunately we have had price increases from our suppliers so we have had to increase many of our prices in the upcoming catalogue. You may want to take advantage of the current prices as we are holding the lower prices until February 1st.

Animalympics Children’s Art Competition

Open to children aged 6-15 years, resident or attending a school in Waltham Forest. Entry is Free. Closing Date extended to 3rd December 2011.

Entrants are required to draw, paint, or collage a picture of a fun Olympic sport for animals! You can show your animals competing in a real Olympic sport or create a new sport for them.

Imagine Long-Jump for Kangaroos, frogs and fleas, animals racing, the elephant gymnastics team, weight-lifting ants, or lizards stretching their tongues to catch the furthest fly!

Animalympics

An original Limited-Edition Banksy ‘Toxic Mary’ screenprint worth £2000 could be yours simply by entering this unmissable festive competition which runs from 1st-19th December.

The winner will be the one who comes closest to guessing how many Montana spray-paint nozzles are in our green bottle. (Big thanks to Jackson’s Art Supplies for the nozzles!)

You can see the bottle this Sunday 4th December at Village Underground’s Christmas Art Fair.

Jackson’s has a main office and shop in Hackney in East London and a shop under the arches of Putney Bridge tube station in Fulham (South London) that are staffed by artists of all disciplines. Most are painters and printmakers with a couple of illustrators/cartoonists and sculptors. Nearly everyone works part-time so that they can practice their art part of the week and that flexibility is one of the many reasons they choose to work at Jackson’s.
