About Jackson’s

Jackson’s Art Supplies is the UK’s leading art materials mail-order company, offering a huge range of art materials, fast delivery, friendly service,
expert advice and unbeatable prices. Operating now out of North East London, our aim is to deliver, fast and efficiently, the world’s finest art materials at the lowest possible prices. Because of your continued support, our buying power has increased, enabling us to maintain our incredibly low prices. During 2004 we merged with another leading UK mail-order and web-based art supplies business and this has allowed us to increase the depth and diversity of the products that we offer.

Over the next few months we plan to implement a few new ideas to give a service second to none. Online dispatch notification, online tracking of orders and order level stock notification. Remember we always welcome comments regarding our service & range of products -it’s our intention to remain the UK’s leading supplier of art materials and, as the customer, your views are paramount!

We have art shops for customers who would rather visit us in person. Click on the links below to see maps of these locations. We recommend ringing ahead to insure that the item you need is in stock. The opening hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 to 5:00 and 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturday.

How do I access buying costs/info for Saunders Waterford bright white and Fabriano-Artistico eExtra White on line?

    • Julie says:

      Hi Stan
If you click on the underlined part of the article that is a link to the paper on our website and you can see the prices. They go down per sheet as you buy larger quantities.

If you go to our website you can enter Fabriano Extra White as a search term and find the papers that way or look in the category of watercolour papers and see all the types we stock. Here is a link straight to that paper in glued blocks and loose sheets.

      I hope this helps.
We will send you a catalogue today to the address you mentioned.

      -Julie

Hi Can I ask where you got the name Jacksons from – is it the name of the owners or just a name? Sorry for the strange question just interested int he history behind it :)

    • Julie says:

      Hi Rosey!
I wouldn’t want to say “it’s made up” because that doesn’t really tell the story.
I have asked the director if he would write a bit about the history of Jackson’s.
But in short for now – After gaining lots of experience in art materials retailing and customer services by starting first as a 2-man business and growing it from there – he chose the name Jackson’s, although not his own, because it sounded traditional, hardworking and reliable, all traits he wanted to bring to the business.
