We have a new source for our little natural sea sponges used by many watercolourists. These sponges are a bit larger and can be cut to size if you need smaller ones. There are 6 to 9 in a bag of sponges. The assorted shapes, sizes and textures make these useful tools for lifting colour from wet paintings or adding texture by lifting a pattern or bits of colour from your watercolour painting. They are also tough yet gentle for scrubbing a dry watercolour to lift the colour and hold more water than foam sponges.

Rinse out new sponges thoroughly using clean water. They may be lightly sized to hold their shape in the bag.
