New Savings on Shipping to Europe

We have a new method of shipping coming soon that will save you money if you are ordering from the European countries below. It should be in place in about 2 weeks.
It will be just £5.00 for 5 kilos that will fit into a Euro Bag. The size of the bag means an item of 12x16x3inches or the equivalent will fit, that must include all added protective packaging. (A large shoe box would fit, for example.)
Orders under £39.00 would also incur the £3.95 packing fee.

The following countries are included and the extra time to deliver is listed here:
Two extra days for delivery: France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg.
Three to four extra days for delivery: Spain, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Denmark, Switzerland, Czech Republic
Four to five extra days for delivery: Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Finland.
Five to seven extra days for delivery: Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Estonia

  1. Hi
I am pleased to see the new euro bag, this may make things easier.

As you may know, most of us do not have a ” direct to house” postal system in spain and rely on renting a small box at the local shopping center, business or post office.

If I order some goods, does the packet require a signature on receipt? because although i can receive parcels the local post office will not sign for anything.

any help you can offer would be appreciated.

I belong to a local art club and getting goods from england can sometimes be difficult.

    • Hi Alan.
Unfortunately our new courier who do this special scheme also needs a signature, so PO boxes are still not workable for them.
      Apologies.

  2. Hi Julie

    thanks for the reply,

would the courier deliver to a house direct ? if so then we could always arrange to meet the courier at my house or at least direct him/her to where i live.

This is a constant problem for us ex pats especially those of us who live in the countryside without a formal street address or sometimes a road name.
If the courier has a a local office maybe we could go to collect the parcel if they ring us to say it has arrived? which courier will you use for southern spain?
I hope that there is a way to resolve it as i would like to place orders in the future

    • Hi Alan
Not sure but they probably need a road name or house number. I will check.
I have just been told that this service is almost ready to put in place, it starts in a week or two.

      • Hi Alan.
Yes, they do need a house name or number and a road name.
Do you have a friend with ‘a more complete address’ that could be the address you use for the parcel?

  3. We would appreciate the addition of MALTA to your list of destinations. We have a substantial community of artists here, and MALTA is part of Europe.

    • Hi Kevin
I will see if this new courier can ship to there for this scheme.
We do ship to Malta already using our regular courier, we have quite a few customers where you live! Small items are not too expensive, if they can be sent by post. A large parcel would be £32 for one box up to 30kg and under 1.5m. If your order is over £320 we will pay the shipping.

    • Hi again Kevin.
I have checked and the courier we are using for this scheme has set the countries, we don’t have control over it. And Malta is not on their list.
Maybe they shouldn’t have called it EuroBag…
      Apologies,
      Julie

    • Hi Linda.
If the parcel is larger than the Euro Bag it is £25 for a box shipped to Portugal, up to 30kg and under 1.5m. If your order is over £250 we will pay the shipping.
      I hope this helps,
      Julie
